GAOLC Tagaytay Occular Inspection of Retreat Houses =)

Last Sunday, October 30, 2011, Me, Risha and Angela went to Tagaytay for an occular inspection of retreat houses and of course, kasama narin ang adventure trip dyan. Naku, mawawala ba yun eh always kasama yun, hehehehe. Anyway, we left Manila at 7:45 A.M. The weather was fine and sunny day and the road is smooth, walang ka traffic traffic. Its so nice to have a travel like this lalo na pag nasa magandang mood ka. =)

Naku, kailangan talaga, nakadila?! heheheehehhe
It took us almost two (2) hours to reach Tagaytay. Of course, kasabayan din namin yung mga sasakyan sa SLEX on their way to their provinces for a vacation and para dalawin ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay na namayapa na.

When we reached Tagaytay, The first retreat house that we visited is the Reparatrix Formation House (under the care of the Sisters of the Reparatrix of the Sacred Heart of Jesus). When we entered the place, wow, I was somewhat flabbergasted by the beauty, silence and orderliness of the place and the grounds.

The Center Garden of the Blessed Virgin, sorrounded by lush green plants and orchids.
Truly, a "paradise" here on earth.

The Sister - In - Charge, as well as the Mother Superior of the Congregation, Mother Elvira, said that although, they hold retreats in their place, (For small groups and from their schools that they run) they are still having thoughts as to whether they will accept us college students or not because, from what they heard from other retreat houses, some college students from other universities vandalized some of the walls, a thing that the Reparatrix Sisters would not like to happen. Ika nga, prevention is better than cure. So, medyo uncertain pa ang sagot nila kugn tatanggapin nila kami or hindi. Risha and I assured the sisters that our students wont do that because, first and foremost, our students our educated and well - mannered and only an uneducated one would do such barbaric act. We told them that our students never did those vandalism thingy and never in our life did or  encountered a student of ours did such thing. Maingay pa siguro, oo  but somehow,  it can be managed.

The Main Chapel of the Reparatrix Formation House. You will notice
the solemnity of this place. I firmly believe, God speaks to us.....IN SILENCE.

The Sister - in charge told us to talk otuside because, they wanted to
maintain the silence and solemnity of the Chapel. I full agree to
that because, nowadays, rarely you will see people observe the rule of silence inside the chapel or church.
They don't know the value and importance of silence in the House of God.
